If you're like me, there's something special about reading a good story...especially mysteries.  I have always enjoyed reading and writing mysteries because they can truly help you transcend the daily grind...like laundry, for example (you'll find out more about how our main character bypasses a load of laundry to solve a mystery).  What's even better is the opportunity to share what you've read with others.  When you come across someone who enjoys the same genre or author as you do, then there's an additional dimension added to the
relationship.  My mother and I share a similar interest in visiting different public libraries
to buy hard or soft cover books which are usually sold for one dollar - - or less.
Whenever I stumble over an Agatha Christie mystery, my day is golden.

Your Mystery Series has been designed to satisfy your reading interests, as well as
provide an outlet for you to connect with others.  The mission of this newsletter is to get you thinking about something other than the next business meeting - - or the next load of laundry!  Additionally, the Your Mystery Series challenges you to figure out who-dun-it before the last installment is emailed to you.  You'll be encouraged to share your opinions, theories, solutions, or even offer an ending to the story!

With the Basic Subscription Rate  ($20.00 USD) you will receive 3 months of Your Mystery Series which includes 12 weekly installments emailed directly to you..  Each story unfolds across 4-6 installments, so the Basic Subscription Rate includes 2 or more stories, and many opportunities for you to chat or connect with other subscribers.

VOL I, PART 1

FEATURING

"THE MYSTERY OF THE DEAD HUSBAND"

Read the First Installment of this Mystery Today!

Here's a excerpt of the story:

Cookie looked confused, “How does someone just disappear?  In a marriage, don’t we usually say,
‘I’m going to see my sister for a few days’, or ‘I’m going fishing’.  Who just ups and disappears?”

“Victor does, and has, and may have done so two days ago,” Annie replied matter-of-factly.  “I believe the difference this time is that his car is still in the garage.”

“Perhaps Victor’s on a cruise;  perhaps he called for a taxi to take him to the docks,” Cookie replied nonchantly.  For some reason her laundry basket was beginning to seem more interesting than this saga of Victor and Mrs. G.

“Do you want to know why I’m dragging you to Mrs. G’s house?”  Annie asked.

”I’m totally befuddled,” Cookie admitted.

At this point they were standing in Mrs. G’s driveway in front of the one-car garage doorway.  Annie stooped, grabbed the handle of the garage door and lifted it up to open.

Cookie gasped and found herself grabbing at Annie’s arm to steady herself.  Scrawled across the back wall of the garage were words that read:  He is hanged, is he?

The letters were about 2 feet in height and seemed to  have been written in a dark, blood-colored ink or paint.

“That’s not blood, is it?” Cookie was still holding Annie’s arm tightly.

“I’m not an expert - - I hope not,” Annie spoke tersely, kicking up her manager-in-control tones a notch.

In the background, the sound of a woodpecker repeateldy pounding his beak against the branch of a sweet gum tree was as lethal  and as ominous as machine-gun fire.

“Where is Mrs. G right now?” Cookie asked, her voice had dropped a few octaves as she forced herself to breathe deeply.
